Mobile app design and prototype: screens before development
Mobile app design starts with screens and user flows, not code. You get a design and a clickable prototype you can show to investors, your team and first users.

What a mobile app prototype looks like
A design mistake found after the code is written costs many times more than one found on a prototype. Mobile app design is for those who want to understand how the product will look and work before paying for development. It matters most for startups preparing for an investor and for companies with non-standard flows. See also: architecture session.
- If you only have an idea. We turn your description into a list of screens and a flow map, so you can see the product and discuss it.
- If you already have developers. We hand over neatly organised screens and components that your team can build without guesswork.
Approximate display: images and texts are chosen as an example. In your project the features, design and architecture will be different, built for your goals.
Design and prototype — + from €1 990
We draw the app screens and build a clickable prototype: you can open it on a phone and go through the whole user journey. You see the product before development and make decisions cheaply.
We built role-based accounts for International Lyceum Discovery School, an account and scoring for duck.credit, and an internal currency and billing for Trendo. We use these solutions as a base for mobile flows, so we do not reinvent them.
We do not just draw screens, we think at once about how to build them and what it costs. Prices are on the page, and layouts and source files are handed to you. If you decide to build the app with us after the prototype, the design does not have to be redone. We work without templates, in your brand.
Suits: founders who want to show the idea to investors or partners · Teams that have a task but no clear picture of the app · Those who want to compare developers using the same mockup
What mobile app design and a prototype from €1,990 include
One price for the whole list: no extra charges for hours or individual items.
Design and a prototype start from €1,990 as a standalone service. In app development packages the design is already included: up to 8 screens in the MVP and up to 20 in the Business package. The result: screens for iOS and Android, a clickable prototype that opens on a phone, and layouts for development.
- Clickable prototype. You tap buttons and go through a flow as in a real app, before a single line of code is written.
- File handover. Layouts and source files are registered to you, and you can give them to any team.
- Screen mapWe decide which screens are needed and how a person moves between them. We cut the extras before they cost money.
- Recommendations for the first versionWe describe what to build in the first version and what to postpone. The budget goes to what matters most.
- Screen designColors, fonts, buttons and states of each screen for iPhone and Android. You see the whole app.
- Component kitConsistent buttons, fields and icons. Developers take ready-made parts, so development is faster and cheaper.
- Clickable prototypeA link that opens on a phone and walks through the screens like a real app. You can show it to your team and investors.
- Two rounds of editsWe collect all feedback together so the designer isn't sent around in circles.
- File handoverMockups, fonts and icons stay with you, and you can give them to any team.
Approximate display: images and texts are chosen as an example. In your project the features, design and architecture will be different, built for your goals.
What to add to app design
Optional, now or later. The price is fixed before work starts.
The design takes into account App Store and Google Play rules, text length in different languages and the habits of users in your market. We work with clients from the US, the UK, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Poland and other countries.
- Several interface languages. We design so that long German or short English labels do not break the screens.

Turnkey promotion: where your customers will come from
Once the prototype is approved you can move to development: an MVP for iOS and Android from €10,900. To test demand more cheaply, start with an app made from your website for €2,490 or a Telegram Mini App from €3,900. See also: iOS and Android app development, app from your website, Telegram Mini App, app promotion.
The app does not gain installs on its own: channels bring the users.
An app in the store does not gain installs on its own. Turnkey promotion: an App Store and Google Play page, install ads and bringing users back through push and email. The report shows how much an install costs and how many people stay.
We start with analytics: without it you cannot see which ads bring real users.
Turnkey promotion: stages and prices
Every month you get a report: how many requests came in and what each one cost. You pay the ad budget directly to the platforms.
So customers keep coming every month, not just on launch day
We will choose 1–3 channels for your business and budget, launch them, and show you every month what a request costs.
How we work on app design
The steps switch automatically, or click any of them to read more.
First a brief and a review of user flows: who the user is and what they do. Then a screen map, design in your brand and a prototype. We show progress at every step, make revisions and test the prototype on a few people from your audience. Timing depends on the number of screens, and we name it after the brief. See also: brand identity for your app.
- What we need from you. A description of the idea, examples of apps you like, and your logo and brand colours if you have them.
1. Brief
A short 15-minute questionnaire: what the business is, who it is for, what you need and by when. By voice, text or a call.
- We ask only what affects the result and the price
- Materials (logo, photos, texts) can be sent later
- We reply the same business day: what we offer, what it costs and how long it takes
2. Quote and contract
We fix the scope, price, deadline and payment schedule. The amount does not grow without your written consent.
- A contract between our company and yours, or with you personally
- Inside: the scope item by item (as on this page), deadlines, payment stages, warranty fixes
- The code, domain and service accounts are yours: it is written in the contract
- We sign online: a PDF with an e-signature, no paper and no couriers
3. Payment
We invoice your company. Pay by bank transfer or by card.
- No hidden fees: you pay for the domain and service subscriptions directly to them, with no markup from us
- Every payment is tied to a stage: you pay for what you can already see
- Closing documents: invoice and acceptance certificate
4. Trabajo con vista previa
At every stage you get a preview link: you see what is ready and leave your edits right away.
- First the product map and structure, then design, then the build
- We collect edits in one place, so nothing gets lost in the correspondence
- Questions for you come as a list with answer options: reply when it suits you
5. Review and approval
Before launch we check everything ourselves, then you approve the work against the list from the contract.
- Phones and computers, loading speed, forms and emails, payments in test mode
- Legal pages and the cookie banner are in place
- You go through the scope list and sign the acceptance certificate
6. Launch and handover
We publish on your domain and hand everything over to you: access, instructions, source files.
- Domain, email on the domain, analytics and Search Console
- Access to all accounts goes to you, we stay on by invitation
- A short guide: how to edit texts, photos and prices yourself
- After that, if you wish: support, promotion, new modules
FAQ
How much does mobile app design cost?
Standalone design and a prototype start from €1,990. If you order development, design is already included in the packages: up to 8 screens in the MVP and up to 20 in Business.
What will I get in the end?
Screens for iOS and Android, a clickable prototype and layouts for development. All files are registered to you.
How long does app design take?
It depends on the number of screens and the complexity of flows. We name the timing after the brief, once the scope is clear.
Do I need a prototype if I am already ordering development from you?
It is already included in the packages: we agree the design first and only then write code. A separate order is needed if you will build the app elsewhere.
Can the design be handed to another developer?
Yes. Layouts and source files belong to you, and we organise them so another team can work without questions.
How is design for iOS different from Android?
The platforms have different habits: navigation, buttons, gestures. We take this into account and do not make one design for all, unless you are fine with the app feeling foreign.
How can I check that users will like the idea?
Let them try a clickable prototype. It is faster and cheaper than development. We help write a test scenario, but the result depends on your audience.
